Board and Management Changes
Summary
Yandal's board and leadership team are changing, effective 1 September 2026.
Eduard Eshuys will step in as Non-Executive Chair, bringing over 40 years in mineral exploration, including his role in the discoveries of the Plutonic, Bronzewing, Jundee and Rosemont gold deposits, and his time as CEO redeveloping St Barbara's Sons of Gwalia operation. Andrew Jackson joins as a Non-Executive Director, bringing more than 30 years in investment management and capital markets, including his time as Head of Research at Vinva Investment Management.
Current Chair Greg Evans will hand over the role but stay on the Board as a Non-Executive Director, helping steer a smooth handover. Katina Law and Chris Newman have retired from the Board with immediate effect, and Managing Director and CEO Chris Oorschot has also retired from the Board with immediate effect, though he'll remain as CEO until 30 November under his notice period.
For everyday shareholders, this is a leadership transition rather than a change to the underlying project portfolio at Ironstone Well-Barwidgee, Mt McClure or the newer Arrakis and Siona prospects. Chris Oorschot is credited with those exploration outcomes, and the incoming Chair has spoken about continuing to build on that work.
